ORLANDO, FL – Sources close to  Casey Anthony’s attorney confirmed today that Casey has adopted a baby girl from Romania.

Reporters from Orange County confirmed that Casey Anthony applied to adopt a baby girl (2 years old) from Eastern Europe in early 2010.  Sources say she was accepted by the Romanian government – pending the conclusion of her trial.

It is expensive to adopt a baby from Romania.  Some say legal costs run in excess of $25,000 to adopt, but Casey has reportedly offered the Romanians three times that amount.

Casey has plenty of money rolling in now with book deals, movie deals and a porn video that she is slated to shoot in early August.  She is already worth over $8 million dollars because of her book deal.  READ about it here.

Sources close to friends of Casey say she offered the Romanian adoption agency $75,000 for the baby.

Casey will reportedly fly to Bucharest on July 25th to pick up the baby.  Her adoption attorney will not say where Casey and the baby will live, but many are speculating that she will return to the U.S. and live with her aunt in Texas.

Romanians are appalled about the adoption and are trying to stop it from going forward. “We do not want one of our babies being adopted by that monster,” said Flaviu Trasicu.  “We have standards here that citizens of the United States do not.  As a society, we cherish our children and punish child abusers.”

Casey Anthony reportedly wants to prove to the world that she is a good mother.  Sources say she told corrections officers in the Orange County Jail last summer that she plans on adopting 3-4 babies and having 3-4 of her own.  “She thinks she can handle a lot of kids,” said Tommy Kimplin of the Orange County Jail.  “She feels like she’s changed.”

Casey has not chosen a name for the baby girl she is going to adopt, “but it’s not going to begin with a ‘C’, that’s for sure.”

Americans are outraged about the verdict… and now this!  Some feel that maybe she should stay in Romania…

A grainy black-and-white video has surfaced showing notorious Florida mom Casey Anthony speaking out in the first of what she promises to be a series of “video diaries.”

Looking nearly unrecognizable in a blond bob, thick black glasses and white tank top, Anthony spends most of the four-minute clip rambling about her new computer, phone and recently adopted dog, but never mentions her daughter, Caylee, whom she was acquitted of slaying.

But the madeover mother does allude to beating the rap for the 2-year-old tot’s death.

“It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July, and how many things haven’t changed,” the 25-year-old muses.

“But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way. I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better.”

Even after months of living in the media spotlight and through a televised trial, Anthony says she’s not totally comfortable being on camera.

“I don’t know whether to look directly at myself or look up,” she giggles.

“It’s a little scary, because I hate being on camera. But I need to conquer that fear at some point, and this is a good start,” she says.

In the clip’s opening, Anthony says that she’s recording on Oct. 13. She never mentions where she is but says that she’ll be “here next year … even if I get off probation early, I’ll still be here until at least February.”

NBC News said it confirmed that the video was of Anthony.

At the end of the clip, Anthony asks viewers to stay tuned for more solo web chats.

“Maybe I’ll bring the dog. Who knows?” she says.

A former attorney for Casey Anthony confirmed Thursday that a “video diary” posted to YouTube is that of Anthony but said the video was not “legally obtained.”
The Orlando mother found not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, talks about her well-being and references being kept in an undisclosed location in the four-minute clip that surfaced on YouTube Thursday. It is not clear where the black-and-white video originated, though multiple reports say it first appeared on a website called

Cheney Mason, one of Anthony’s defense attorneys during her trial, said Thursday that the woman in the video is Anthony but said his former client does not know how it landed on the web.
Mason told Fox affiliate WOFL-TV that “Casey has maintained some notes on her thoughts for personal use, especially for counseling. She did not release this video to YouTube and does not know how they got it.
“It could not have been legally obtained and was not authorized,” Mason told the station.
In the video, Anthony, who is sporting a short, blonde hairstyle and glasses, says she has a new computer and will be posting video diaries. She continuously alludes to being kept in a location, but she never says where she is in the video, which was created Oct. 13.
“I’m extremely excited,” Anthony says. “I’m excited that I’ll be able to Skype and obviously keep a video log, take some pictures and that I have something that I can finally call mine … It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to call something mine.”
“Even if I get off probation early, I’ll still be here at least until February — end of February, seven months, March, my birthday,” she says.
Anthony does not mention her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee, whose remains were found in December 2008 in a wooded area not far from the Anthony family home. Instead, she speaks about a dog she’s adopted and says “a lot has changed” in her life since the trial.
“I just hope things stay good, and they only get better,” she says.

LOS ANGELES — Casey Anthony might be one of the most hated women in America, but Hustler magazine wants to give her a half-million dollars.

If she’ll pose naked.

Larry Flynt’s porno magazine has offered the 25-year-old, who was acquitted of murdering her daughter, Caylee, the cash, Flynt told HLN’s Nancy Grace.

But even he thinks it’s a little weird.

After the verdict, Flynt said, “I just felt that people wouldn’t want to see her with her clothes on or off, so I kind of forgot about the idea.”

But book lovers made him change his mind.

“I just recently got off of a book tour where dozens of people would come up to me in Philadelphia, Austin, Houston, they’d say, ‘Why haven’t you made an offer to Casey Anthony?”‘ he said.

He said he became convinced that a good hair stylist and makeup artist could have her “looking really fabulous.”

Anthony’s representatives told CNN there have been no discussions.

But Flynt said in addition to the $500,000, he offered Anthony a percentage of whatever he earns from her pictures.

“You could make millions,” he said.

But even he acknowledged he’s a little skeezed out.

“You’ve got men who say, hey, I want to see her in her birthday suit,” he said of the Anthony offer. “There may be some sick individuals … but that’s what life is all about.”

Casey Anthony Mask Sells on eBay For Almost $1 Million

Share

By John P. Wise, Digital Media Manager

    7/28/2011

That eBay auction for the Casey Anthony mask everyone was talking about Wednesday ended with a winning bid of almost $1 million.

The final bid came in at $999,900 for the latex mask that promises to raise a few eyebrows during this year’s Halloween party circuit. Whether the buyer actually comes forward with that kind of dough remains to be seen.

“Forget Freddy, Jason (and) Meyers,” wrote the mask’s seller, prophunter, in the eBay ad. “No matter what your opinion of the trial is, this is still one heck of a conversation piece.”

Prophunter called the mask “extremely rare” in the heading of the post.

Other Casey Anthony items up for auction Tuesday night included trial tickets, newspaper covers, a host of T-shirts, a trial DVD set and plenty others.

Seller prophunter is based in Los Angeles and has a perfect feedback score of 100 percent over more than 350 transactions.

Anthony was acquitted of murder in her high-profile trial in Orlando this month. She was accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, in 2008.

Casey Anthony Juror: ‘Sick to Our Stomachs’ Over Not Guilty Verdict

Share

Casey Anthony juror Jennifer Ford said today that she and the other jurors
cried and were “sick to our stomachs” after voting to acquit Casey Anthony of charges that she killed her 2-year-old
daughter Caylee.

“I did not say she was innocent,” said Ford, who had previously only been
identified as juror number 3. “I just said there was not enough evidence. If you
cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should
be.”

The jury’s jaw dropping not guilty verdict shocked court observers, but it
was also a difficult moment for the panel, Ford said in an exclusive interview
with ABC News. No one from the jury was willing to come out and talk to the
media in the hours after the verdict.

“Everyone wonders why we didn’t speak to the media right away,” Ford said.
“It was because we were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying
and not just the women. It was emotional and we weren’t ready. We wanted to do
it with integrity and not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial.”

Instead of murder, Casey Anthony, 25, was found guilty of four counts of
lying to law enforcement and could be released from jail as early as Thursday.

Ford praised the jurors.

“They picked a great bunch of people, such high integrity. And there was high
morale,” she said. “We all joked. We are like a big group of cousins.”

Casey Anthony Prosecutor: ‘All Came Down to Cause of Death’

Earlier today, the prosecutor and an alternate juror agreed on why the jury
had refused to convict Anthony: They couldn’t prove how little Caylee Anthony
died.

“It all came down to the evidence,” said Florida state attorney Jeff Ashton
on “The View.” “I think ultimately it all came down to — at least from what the
one alternate said — it came down to the cause of death.”

Russell Huekler, one of five alternate jurors who were present for all the
testimony and sequestered along with the 12 other jurors, said today that he
would have delivered the same verdict and that he was shocked by the public
outrage
over the trial’s outcome.

“The prosecution failed to prove their case and there was reasonable doubt.
Again, they didn’t show us how Caylee died. They didn’t show us a motive. I’m
sorry people feel that way. … These were 17 total jurors. They really listened
to this case and kept an open mind,” Huekler said.

Prosecution was hampered by the fact that Caylee Anthony’s body wasn’t
discovered until six months after she disappeared. She was found lying in a
swampy, wooded area. Her body was so badly decomposed that the autopsy could not
determine a cause of death and stated only that she was a victim of homicide by
undetermined means.

Top 9 Moments: Casey Anthony Trial

“I don’t think it was the lack of DNA” connecting Casey Anthony to her
daughter’s death that undermined the case, Ashton said. “It was the cause of
death.”

Ashton said that he and his team felt they put on a good case.

“We were pretty shocked” at the verdict, he said. “We put on everything that
an investigation, a really thorough investigation over three years, produced.
That’s the way it goes. I think I mouthed ‘Wow’ five times.”

One of the most powerful pieces of evidence, he said, was the photo of
Caylee’s decomposed skull with the pieces of duct tape where her mouth and nose
would have been.

“What I’ve said all along is if a jury looks at that photograph and doesn’t
see it the way I do and doesn’t know how she died, then so be it,” Ashton said.
“I wouldn’t have been involved in this case if I didn’t think she did it.”

Huekler said he believed Caylee’s death was just a horrific accident and that
Casey Anthony was a good mother.

“The first number of witnesses were Casey’s friend and every time that they
said they saw Casey with Caylee, it was a loving relationship and no one
provided evidence to the contrary,” Huekler said.

Huekler said the lack of physical evidence that Caylee was murdered
overwhelmed the circumstantial evidence of Casey Anthony’s many lies and her
hard partying in the 31 days when she knew her daughter was dead but didn’t tell
authorities.

“Yeah, the behavior was bizarre, but what I took from that is that the family
was very dysfunctional. Because they were so dysfunctional, that was the norm
for them. Casey didn’t just start lying for the first 31 days [after Caylee
disappeared]. She had been lying for the past two years…I felt it was the norm
for her,” Huekler said.

Huekler also said it didn’t bother him that Casey Anthony did not testify in
her own defense.

Mark Lippman, a lawyer for Anthony’s parents, said on “Good Morning America”
today that George and Cindy Anthony were shocked by the verdict, not because
they believe Casey Anthony is guilty, but because they thought the state did a
fantastic job presenting their case.

George and Cindy Anthony have not met with their daughter since her trial
began, but they hope to meet with her and to one day get the truth about what
happened to Caylee.

“There was a slim chance that we were hoping to get some sliver of truth
during this trial and that would have been by testimony from Casey…hopefully one
day she’ll tell her story, but who knows what to believe,” Lippman said.
